Proudly Poured: Fahr Brewery Joins Rotary, Rolls‑Royce, and the Lufthansa Technik x WestJet Groundbreaking Celebration
At Fahr Brewery, we’re rooted in tradition — but every once in a while, something extraordinary happens that reminds us how far a good beer can travel. Over the past year, our small brewery in Diamond Valley found itself part of some truly memorable moments across the globe. We were simply honoured to contribute to these events by doing what we do best — pouring clean, classic German-style beer for people brought together by celebration, progress, and passion.
Iron Lung Ale: A Tribute at Rotary International Convention
In June 2025, we had the privilege of crafting and serving a special-edition beer called Iron Lung Ale for the Rotary International Convention in Calgary — an event that welcomed over 15,000 delegates from around the world. The name "Iron Lung" paid tribute to the historic medical device used to treat polio patients — and honoured Rotary’s decades-long global mission to eradicate polio entirely. Pouring that beer during such a meaningful event, and seeing people from over 120 countries come together around a cause that matters, was one of the most humbling moments in our brewery’s history. Even better, a portion of proceeds supported the Community Legacy Fund — helping create lasting local impact.
Craft, Class & Global Recognition: Rolls‑Royce RREC Anniversary
In fall 2023, Fahr Brewery found itself in the company of legacy, luxury, and elegance. We were honoured to pour our beer at the 20th Anniversary Celebration of the Rolls‑Royce Enthusiasts’ Club (RREC) at Grosvenor House in London.Surrounded by some of the world’s most iconic vehicles, our beer was served at the gala and exclusive after-party, sharing space with leaders in design, engineering, and luxury lifestyle.But the story doesn’t end there.We’re incredibly proud to share that Fahr Brewery was featured as an editorial partner in a prestigious commemorative book titled: Strive for Perfection: Celebrating 20 Years of Goodwood, published by St. James’s House, the official publisher of the RREC.The 400-page book, written by a team of renowned automotive journalists and industry experts, spotlights internationally recognized, sustainable luxury brands — and Fahr Brewery will be among them.To be included in a publication that celebrates tradition, sustainability, and excellence — the very values we hold dear — is a tremendous honour.
Raising a Glass at Lufthansa Technik’s Groundbreaking with WestJet
Most recently, we were invited to pour at the groundbreaking celebration of Lufthansa Technik’s new maintenance facility, built in partnership with WestJet. This event marked a major milestone in Canada’s aviation industry — a powerful collaboration set to bring world-class aircraft maintenance to Calgary. As proud Albertans with German roots, being part of this celebration felt full-circle for us. We were thrilled to serve our German-style beer during this exciting moment, connecting two cultures and two continents through innovation and shared vision.
